INSECURITY
If you see yourself having sleepless night over someone else's fake Ray Ban Glasses and unceasingly striving to obtain it (especially when you have the original version), then there are greater chances that you are dealing with chronic insecurity issues.
If you can't confidently look into the other party's eyes during decision making, then get ready to be taken advantage of because of a low self esteem guise in the robe of insecurity.
More importantly, if you see yourself wanting it all and not being able to say no even when you know you ought to, then there are greater chances that you're sulked up in the claws of overconfidence. There is a thin line between insecurity and overconfidence.
Studies have shown that most overconfident people are "lowkey'' insecure and most insecure people are ''lowkey'' overconfident. One distinct trigger is enough to blow its cover and give way of the innate (not so upright) virtue to dominate and vice versa.
If you're constantly seeking validation from others, even to minute issue of seeking their assistance or acknowledgement to update your status on face book, twitter, instagram or other social media platforms, then your insecurity level is on cloud nine and you need prompt help!
Scripture Reflection: {Romans 9:25}
"I'll call nobodies and make them somebodies. I'll call the unloved and make them loved.''
Battling with any insecurity issue which I failed to mention because I was careful not to write an epistle? Take it to God in prayer.
Ensure you surround yourself with positive people who speak to the giant in you, make deliberate moves to work on yourself and above all, yell a reverberating STOP to every demeaning position, situation or decision you've wallowed in for so long.
Insecurity kills all that is beautiful.
Have a SECURE day Fam!
