Often times, answered prayers happen in mysterious ways. As humans, we tend to have an idea or manufacture a strategy on how to solve a problem. Most times our desires come through but not the way we had intended it to fall in place. Interestingly, God’s plan always supersedes man’s plan and is beyond human comprehension, no matter how much we try to crack the puzzle. The mystery of an answered prayer cannot be explained, reason why human beings attempt to explain the workings of God but can never outline or state the process of His workings and the eventual result. Indeed, God's work pattern are shrouded in mysteries to prove that He is God, this way, no one born of a woman gets the glory! We often spend quality time engaging in prayer of supplication; earnestly praying that God comes through for us in particular area(s) of our lives but most times, we cannot deal with His majestic Modus Operandi. Do you know that 80% of successes are recorded by people who show up?  I got my first secular TV job which I love so much by not only showing up but applying the waiting game   principle. The producer of the show was away in Lagos for a meeting and was scheduled to return to Abuja at 2 pm to promote the new show.  Prior to my meeting with the producer, I had looked up to the said individual as a mentor in the journalistic field and it was going to be my dream come through to finally meet the producer. The producer didn't show up at 2pm but at 11pm, I waited for extra 9 hours to compliment my "showing up & Waiting game" approach towards life.  We eventually exchanged pleasantries after the producer's recording session and the producer was so pleased to meet me but was particularly moved by my zest and sacrifice. God doesn't need your money to bless you. As a matter of fact, money is a secular commodity made by man. God still operates in the reality of trade by barter. The most beautiful thing about God is that He works with the resources in your hands and multiplies it a great deal. He makes use of what is in your hand, not what isn't in your hand. Advance thanksgiving in anticipation of the goodies you're expecting from the Throne of Grace are great but observing a quiet time to reflect on the goodies that you had received within a particular time frame is fantastic. God uses people to bless us. And so putting a call through, sending a warm message or delivering a parcel (according to your financial ability) is a legitimate way to say Thank You Jesus. It is the little things that matter and God never seizes to bless thoughtful people who return to say thank you. When things aren't adding up, quit the complaints and go back to the drawing board and start all over! The drawing board gives you freedom to evaluate, erase the initial plan and  replot the course for actualizing divine purpose. Self love is the ability to say a firm no to the inadequacies around you and taking appropriate measures to put a final stop to repeat occurrences. It's the ability to ''unlink'' your happiness with people, places and things. It entails treating one's self to the best of nature's finest and enjoying your own company. Isolation is the state of being detached or separated from other people. It is true that no man is an island but there comes a time in one's life when he or she will have to isolate him or her self from the crowd, given that some people take it upon themselves to distract you from your focus and are aimed at ridiculing, oppressing and silencing you. Joseph was isolated from his family at a particular period of time, when he was sold into slavery by his blood brothers to Egyptian merchants. Who is the unequally yoked person? One who is unable to partner with you at a particular level. Failure to disassociate yourself from them will lead to sinking and eventual drowning. In the same vain, it has clouded the thinking abilities of individuals, thus handicapping them. These "handicap" could entail compromising to illegitimate business deal, subscribing to peer pressure, or in serious occasion, giving up one's moral values.
