Maurice Laboz is leaving $10m to his daughters but only if they abide by his draconian terms and conditions.

A multi millionaire New York property mogul has dictated the terms of his will from beyond the grave seeing his daughters hit with stringent rules in order to inherit his wealth
Maurice Laboz, who died earlier this year, decided daughters, Marlena, 21, and Victoria, 17 - would inherit $10million (£6.43 million) each when they turn 35.
However the 77-year-old ensured they would be able to get some early bonuses as long as they attended a good university, marry right, get good jobs and do not have children out of wedlock.
Laboz told the executors of his will his daughters could each receive half a million dollars if they marry before 35 on the condition their husbands sign a sworn statement that they will not touch the money.
They could receive a further $750,000 if they graduate 'from an accredited university' and write “100 words or less describing what she intends to do with the funds”.

Woman bakes 250 lifelike dolls in oven to help bereaved parents who have lost their babies

Meet the real life baby-maker who has BAKED more than 250 dolls in her oven, in an effort to comfort bereaved parents.
Devoted Teresa Russon, 51, from Worksop, Notts., first starting making them a decade ago after losing her son and mother within just five months.
The mother-of-three found that creating "reborn dolls" helped her deal with her own grief and she now makes babies for couples who have lost children.
But she does have quirky requests too - some customers have asked for reborn baby monkeys, fairies and even Halloween-themed vampire dolls.

Tragic reason: Teresa Russon says her realistic dolls help grieving parents

The life doll have soft skin made with silicon
The reborn dolls I make look exactly like real babies, you can't help but want to pick them up and treat them like a living child.
"If you've never lost a child it's hard to understand, but for grieving families my real-life dolls give something back to them."
Teresa, who initially trained as a nail technician, started painting porcelain dolls as a way to entertain her mother, May, whose fingers were constrained by rheumatoid arthritis.
In 2005 her mum, who was 80 years old passed away and five months later her son, Vincent, 21, committed suicide.
Teresa said: "After losing both my son and mother there was nothing that could fill the void.
Every morning at 8.30am on the dot my son would call me, the one morning he didn't and I knew something bad had happened.
The Plastic Tots are baked in an oven and can take up to 6 months to bake

Since then making dolls has been my form of escapism, it's helped me to overcome a lot of the troubles I've faced in my life.
"It gives me a real sense of reward knowing that I've helped someone through such a traumatic part of their life."
Teresa channelled her loss into creating her dolls that can take between two weeks and six months to paint and assemble.
She said: "They're a luxury item but aren't too expensive you wouldn't think twice about £200 on computer games but you get so much more out of a doll.
"You have to learn to look after and take care of them just like a real baby.

They are not just a spur of the moment gift they are something for life that can be passed down through the generations.
"At one point I had 16 of my own reborn dolls, I loved them all but I have to let them go and let other families get enjoyment out of them.
"I love all my dolls but occasionally I get more attached to some and find it difficult to let go.
"Initially I struggled to let go of the boy dolls because they reminded me of my son, but now I know I'm helping people by giving them a new home."
Teresa's dolls are made up of a silicon and vinyl blend, are painted, cooked in an oven several eight minute intervals and then assembled for their owners.
She has made dolls for young children all the way up to a lady in her 90s.
Teresa putting together her latest creation

Teresa said: "One family bought a doll for their 93-year-old mum so that she had something to take care of something and could push it around her bungalow.
"People treat them like real life babies, you can't help but want to change their nappies and treat them like a child.
One doll can take a minimum of 108 hours to complete and required years of research to perfect skin tones and making real-feeling hair strands.
Teresa added: "For me my most challenging baby to create was one from America, where the lady sent me pictures of her child in a coffin to make sure every detail was precise.
"I worked with her for around six months trying to get everything from the skin tone to her child's small birth marks correct.
"She wanted me to recreate her child who tragically had died, it may seem unusual but it really helped her to move on with her life.

"Even now, years on she sends me pictures of herself and the reborn doll wherever she goes, even on the beach.
"Knowing that I've helped her and nearly 300 people makes all the long hours painting day and night worth it."

Oyibo people will nat kill me. Lol

Nick Gordon Learnt About Bobbi Kristina’s Death Over The Internet… Releases Press Statement

Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon learned of the 22-year-old's death over the internet, according

to reports. An insider told Us Weekly that Nick learned of Bobbi's death "just like everyone else did, from the

internet" as he was in Florida with his mother at the time the news broke.

Nick had been banned from seeing Bobbi Kristina and earlier this month he was served with $10 million

lawsuit, accusing him of being violent towards her and stealing after she was found unconscious in January.

Bobbi, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late singer Whitney Houston, passed away on Sunday

surrounded by family at Peachtree Christina Hospice in Georgia.

Last night Nick's mother issued a statement on his behalf and said he had "suffered greatly" being apart from

her over the last few months. Continue...

She said: "The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family.

"Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they've been apart.

"Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers

are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time," the statement read.

Three-month-old baby left BLIND in one eye after family friend forgot to turn off the camera flash while taking a photo close up

baby is left blind in one eye after a family friend forgot to turn off the flash while taking a close-up photograph.
Doctors said the three-month-old, who has not been named, has suffered irreparable damage from the flash of the camera, which was held about 10 inches away from the baby boy.
The parents noticed that there was something wrong with their baby's vision soon after the photograph was taken.
Following the incident, the baby suffered from reduced vision in his left eye and blindness in his right eye. The damage is said to be permanent and cannot be fixed with surgery.
The strong flash has damaged cells on the macula, which is the part of the eye where incoming light rays are focused.
Damage to the macula can lead to the loss of central vision, which allows people to see straight ahead.
The macula is not fully developed until children are four, meaning youngsters are very sensitive to strong light.
Experts have said that while babies will shut their eyes when exposed to light on reflex, just milliseconds of strong light can cause permanent damage.
They added that parents should be careful of strong bathroom lights when their babies are taking a bath.
It is not clear whether the family friend will face any legal action following the incident.

Big Brother Africa 2015 CANCELLED

This is not good news for African viewers as the biggest reality TV show in Africa, Big Brother Africa (BBA) may not take place this year as expected.
This is due to lack of sponsorship. The organizers of the show, Africa Magic and Endemol were unable to get sponsorship for this year’s edition of the show.
The Manager of Multichoice Ghana, Anne Sackey confirmed to peganews that they at Multichoice Ghana have received notice from MNET that this year’s edition of Big Brother Africa will not hold.
She explained that MNET did not give them any reasons as to why they will not be doing the Big Brother this year, but then, she personally thinks it’s due to sponsorship constraints.

Some people will run mad this very minute.

Buhari To Split NNPC Into Two

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally revealed what will be the fate of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, saying the national oil company will be divided into two successor entities under his administration.
The President, who stated this in an interview with journalists in Washington DC during a four-day visit to the United States, an extract of which was made available to Saturday PUNCH, explained that the decision would form one of the key steps of his reform of the country’s oil and gas sector.
The NNPC is considered a cesspool of corruption and fraud signposted by the non-remission of revenues from oil sale to the Federation Account. Hence, one of the first reform moves by All Progressives Congress –led administration is expected to start at the NNPC.
There had been insinuations that Buhari would unbundle the NNPC into four companies but the President, in the Washington interview, said rather than breaking the NNPC into four companies, it would be divided into two – regulator and investment vehicle.
While one of the successor companies will be an independent regulator, the President said the second would operate as an investment vehicle for the country.
He said, “I am reforming the oil and gas sector, breaking up the NNPC into two parts – the first will become an independent regulator for the sector, while the second will act as an investment vehicle for the country.”
Buhari also said there would be a new bid round for oil blocks in the country, adding that he favours transparent auction process.
“I will also end political control of the awarding of drilling and exploration rights by introducing a system of independent, transparent auctioning for licences,” the President said.
Senate President Bukola Saraki had, recently, described the NNPC as the engine room of corruption.
He lamented that none of the perpetrators of illegal deals in the corporation had so far been apprehended and brought to justice.
“You hardly see where people who are the real engine room – which is the NNPC – where most of these corruption cases on oil are, being put on trial,” he said.
Similarly, Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, had last week called for the setting up of another national oil firm as he argued that the present NNPC would kill Nigeria if it was allowed to continue running.
“If you don’t kill the NNPC, it will kill Nigeria,” el-Rufai said.
Buhari, as part of the ongoing reform of several strata of the country, said his administration would merge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission into one strong and more effective anti-graft agency.
He said, “Corruption is one of the top three issues facing Nigeria, along with insecurity and unemployment. We must act to kill corruption or corruption will kill Nigeria. I am determined to lead that fight.
“My government is already taking several steps to cut out the cancer of corruption that has been eating away at the state for so long.
“We are reorganising the existing plethora of anti-corruption bodies into single powerful agency that will have the focus, power and budget to clamp down on corruption at the federal and state levels.”
The President said ministers would no longer have power to award contracts while announcing the introduction of a new system of plea bargaining to encourage looters of the government money and oil thieves to return the people’s stolen commonwealth.
He said, “I have already acted to remove political control over awarding of contracts away from ministers who use them to get political favours and kickbacks.
“I will introduce a new system of plea bargain, that will allow those who have stolen assets and funds to return them – but if they do not take that opportunity we will pursue them through the courts.”
Buhari insisted that his administration would not relent in asking foreign countries, including the US, to help in returning stolen funds that are sitting in private accounts abroad, but rightfully belonging to the people of Nigeria.
The President lamented that the country had become over-dependent on oil because of the incompetence and corruption of government that concentrated on “how best to steal oil revenues instead of how best to use our oil windfalls to invest in a modern, growing economy.”
Rather than continue to depend on oil, Buhari said Nigeria must become a manufacturing giant.
“I will not be satisfied until the label ‘Made in Nigeria’ is as common globally, as the label ‘Made in China,’” he added.

Teenager Dies After Tragic Accident During Ice Bucket Challenge

A teenager has died after joining in a variation of the latest internet craze, the ice bucket challenge.
Cameron Lancaster is believed to be the first victim of the trend, in which people film themselves having ice water poured over their heads for charity.
The 18-year-old was found dead after jumping into a disused quarry.
Mr. Lancaster disappeared under the water at Prestonhill Quarry in Inverkeithing, Fife, on Sunday.
He is thought to have jumped feet first off a cliff into shallow water, in response to the internet mania that has swept around the world.
His body was recovered after a four-hour search. The death of Mr. Lancaster, from Burntisland, a small coastal village in southern Scotland, comes amid mounting criticism of the challenge. Some observers say it has begun to stray from its original aim of raising awareness and money for the neurodegenerative disease ALS, or motor neurone disease.
In recent weeks, participants have filmed themselves performing increasingly risky stunts in new variations of the challenge.
The family of Mr. Lancaster, who was preparing to go to Edinburgh Napier University, remembered his “friendliness and thoughtful generosity of spirit”.

Emeka Ike Disvirgined Me At 19-Estranged Wife Insists On Divorce....Awwh,,, Poor Woman

Ace Actor Emeka Ike yesterday prayed the Lagos Island Customary Court not to dissolved his marriage, saying he still loves his wife, Emma.
Emma had gone to court, seeking dissolution of their 12-year-old marriage.Emeka, represented by his counsel, Abdul’Hakeem Labi-Lawal, said his client has not appeared in court because he is ill.
“My client is ill but I will try my best possible he comes on the next adjourned date. We indulge the court to give us six months from this day to see if there is possibility of settlement between the couple,” he said.
But Mrs Ike said six months was too long adding that the respondent had two years to reconcile with her but he didn’t.She said:

“The last time I wanted to speak with our children, it was my mother-in-law who
picked the call and asked if I had read Exodus 21 which says that if I go, I shouldn’t return.”
The court’s President, Chief Awos Awosola, said the court could only grant two weeks. He said:
“I am expecting Emeka Ike in this court if he really wants settlement.”
Awosola adjourned the matter till August 12 for further hearing. After the court rose, Mrs Ike told The Nationthat she wasn’t ready to return to her husband.
“Over two years since I left the house, he never taught of reconciliation. He had every opportunity to ask me to return but he didn’t. So why now?”she asked.
Mrs Ike said her husband took her last two children from her when she was going for her mother’s burial in February.
“He promised to bring them to me immediately I returned from my mother’s burial but he didn’t. Even when he didn’t allow me access to see our children, I spoke with them on several occasions but now, he doesn’t allow me anymore. My children are now against me, she said.
Mrs Ike said she left her matrimonial home because she could no longer bear being tortured anymore.
“If I was still with him, I may not survive. I was 19-year old when I met him and he was the one who deflowered me. I see no reason I shouldn’t be treated with utmost respect.
“Due to physical torture, my health has been affected. There was even a time I thought I had breast cancer because I felt a lump on one part of my breast.” Mrs Ike said.
She said things became worse last Sunday when she called her husband to speak with their children.
In tears, Mrs Ike said:
”I almost went mad when my first son told me on phone that if I truly loved them, I wouldn’t have abandoned them. Even my seven-year-old son whose day wouldn’t be complete without seeing me said he doesn’t love me. I love my children. I miss my children. I never abandoned them. I am in pain. They don’t have any other mother. I really need my children. I am a good woman; I endured so many things as his wife.”
The union produced four children between ages 4 and 13.

Culled from the Nation

Dunno why i believe her side of the story, i pray she gets the justice she truly deserved.

 Agony of Motherhood though :-

Pregnant Women, Nursing Mothers To Be Banned From NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps has barred prospective corps members that are pregnant and nursing babies from participating in the national service across the country.

Also affected are students undergoing post-graduate studies in institutions of higher learning in the country.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig-Gen. Johnson Olawumi, who said these in Kaduna, however, said those affected needed not bother to enlist for service “until they are free to participate effectively.”
This was contained in the resolution of the two-day retreat released to journalists on Thursday.
The NYSC DG, at the workshop with the theme, ‘ICT and NYSC mobilisation process: towards eliminating identified challenges’, added that pregnant women and children would no longer be allowed into orientation camps across the country for service under the scheme established in 1973 by the Gen. Yakubu Gowon administration.
“It was further resolved that pregnant women, nursing mothers or students engaging in post-graduate studies should not bother to enlist for service until they are free to participate effectively,” the resolution read.
Olawumi noted that the exemption of pregnant women and nursing mothers as well as post-graduate students from national service was because they would not be able to undergo the four cardinal programmes of the NYSC.
The four cardinal programmes include mobilisation, orientation, primary assignment and winding-up passing out parade.

The change has indeed begun...

THE RIB...Wrote This Post For A Fellow Blogger But Then I decided To Put It Here Too...Be Encouraged"...Plus I Hope You Love It Too. *Winks*

Now this is different, I couldn't think of any tale to tell, so I decided to just think and imagine something out of the box...And all I could think about was "The Rib"
How many of us wondered why God chose the rib?
Have you asked why?

Oh well, I just did.. If you have or haven't, this is for You...

Who knew the ribs protects the heart and lungs and even supports us around?

Who knew the duty of the rib is to ensure that we are created perfectly and beautifully?

Who knew that the ribs are very strong yet delicate and fragile?

Oh yes!, the heart is the center of our being , the lungs hold the breath of our life but then, did you know that the rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart?...How sacrificial!!!

From  the excerpts  of this  mini illustration, If your  body  system is composed of a rib cage, then I can autocratically assure you through the power vested upon me by the holy spirit that "YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE"

And just like the rib, we are all fragile, delicate, yet powerful. Well, we just can't assimilate all of this  fully until life pushes us. This push can occur as a result of an internal or external push.

The rib is a component of the life support system, It is intertwined. It needs the other parts to aid it function effectively.

''Eve emerged through Adam's rib ...
Now, imagine the wonders of the most high."  And also imagine again why he chose the rib.
The rib protects us, the rib surrounds the chest, it enables the lungs to expand thereby facilitating breathing and expanding the chest cavity.

It may interest you to know that all mammals created by God from humans to animals were formed with ribs.

Just like the ribs existing within us, let us in union, emulate what it represents and of course apply them in our practical lives.

Now let's check out once again the functions of the ribs;

Ø  It protects.
Ø  It supports.
Ø  It sacrifices.
Ø  It needs other parts to work effectively

No man is an island fam, we need each other. If our ribs can do all of this, then we have no excuse as owners of these ribs to not do same.. To not assist one another, protect one another and love one another... Regardless of what or who we are lovelies, White or Black, Male or Female, Tall or short, rich or soon to be rich... please Lets choose to be the RIB today.

We can be much more!
