No Wonder She Snitched!

Image
I used to think that Rebekah, mother of Esau and Jacob, was a mother who allowed favouritism take a toll on her. This is displayed by the way she snitched to her favourite son, Jacob, about Isaac (Father of Esau and Jacob) wanting to bless Esau their first born son. ( Genesis Chapter 27 ) Out of curiosity, I made Rebekah and Jacob my case study. From my mini research, God opened my eyes to realize that in Genesis Chapter 25, Esau sold his birthright to his brother Jacob over a plate of meal; for he was hungry. The event birthed the future brouhaha between Esau and Jacob *I'm pretty sure, Rebekah was excited about the event, hence, prompting her to monitor the well-being of her favourite son Jacob, to ensure all the blessings accrued to a first born is obtained by him. It safe to say that Rebekah wasn't entirely dramatic after all. Also, note that Esau was Isaac's favourite son. Both parents were guilty of favouritism, Rebekah was the smarter one. He Has Given Skills To All Craftsmen

Image
The Big Question: Are You A Craftsman? Whether you say yes or no, you're right. Anchor Scripture: { Exodus 31:6 } "And to all who have aptitude for crafts, I've given the skills to make all the things I've commanded you." The above anchor scripture is not bias intent, neither does it propagate segregation or stereotype. The ''craftsmanship ability'' is entitled to all who have the aptitude to acquire it, so far it's in line with everything God has commanded. Which inherent craft are you exhibiting? Which extrinsic craft are learning? God has assured us that He has given skills to ALL craftsman. Still craving to become a skillful craftsman? Here are the virtues to incorporate; First, you must take to cognizance that the Holy Spirit teaches all things.(Every and Any craft can be learnt) Second, you must seek to find, and ask to receive every good and perfect gift. ( Jeremiah 29;11 - I have plans to give you a future you hope

You're Interested In Religion, He is Interested In People!

Do you know that at the end of the day, where you go to worship wouldn't even matter, only how you lived your life will? (John 4:23) Anchor Scripture: { Luke 9: 49-50 } "John spoke up, "master, we saw a man using your name to expel demons and we stopped him because he wasn't of our group.'' Jesus said, "Don't stop him. If he's not an enemy, he's an ally.'' It breaks my heart to see Christians war over the superiority or inferiority of other denomination. This has to stop! It's a trap set by the devil to disunite Christians. Many ignorant Christians are falling for the devil's scheme. Note that it is not in the position of humans to judge, only God is permitted to Judge the affairs of man. From the above anchor scripture, we see how Jesus admonished John by categorically stating to him that the man whom they tried to disregard because he wasn't in their group yet casting demons in Jesus' name is a friend.

Monitor Your Progress

It's the only way to accrue record-breaking results. A wise farmer plants his seed into the ground, waters it on a regular basis, and is vigilant to notice any weed that may surround it; hence uprooting it. It's the only way he can reap a juicy bountiful harvest. Anchor Scripture: {Exodus 2:4-6a & vs 7} "The baby's sister found herself a vintage point a little way off and watched to see what would happen to him. Pharaoh's daughter came down to the Nile to bathe; her maidens strolled on the bank. She saw the basket-boat floating in the reeds and sent her maid to get it. She opened it and saw the child - a baby crying!" vs 7 "Then his (baby Moses') sister was before her: "Do you want me to go and get a nursing mother from the Hebrews so she can nurse the baby for you?'' Pharaoh's daughter said, ''Yes, Go.'' The girl went and called the child's mother.'' From the interesting anchor scripture

Know When To Say I'm Sorry

Image
So many people are good in saying 'I'm Sorry', but very unrepentant in saying 'I'm Sorry' at the wrong time. Anchor Scripture: {1 Samuel 25:8-24}-paraphrased David sent message to Nabal through his men, saying, vs 8b: "Let my young men find favour in your eyes, for we come on a feast day. Please give whatever comes to your head to your servant and to your son David.'' vs10-11: ''Then Nabal answered David's servants, and said, "Who is David, and who is the son of Jesse? "Shall I then take my bread and my water and my meat that I have killed for my shearers, and give it to men who I do not know where they are from  Then David said to his men when they returned with Nabal's distasteful news saying, "Every man grid on his sword!'' vs 14: ''Now one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal's wife, saying, "Look, David sent messengers from the wilderness to greet our master but he reviled th

CONTRACEPTIVES

Image
Newsflash: You'll never conceive if you keep taking contraceptives. Contraceptives are anything contrary to Conception. Contraceptives are hinderers; they obstruct the conception process, hence yielding nothing. Birthing the iconic will never be possible if the intake of contraceptives continually gets in the way. Anchor Scripture: Luke 1:31&38 "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call him Jesus." "Then Mary said, "behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be done according to your will." From the above anchor scripture, it is relatable that Mary didn't subscribe to contraceptives to obstruct the growing fetus in her womb. Her response to Angel Gabriel was, "Let it be done according to your will." A "No" from Mary would have altered the conception phase. Contraceptives are abortion pills. So many people in the world consciously or unconsciously abort their fetus because

A Mess Or A Message?

Image
How do you see the not so little water in that glass? As half full or half empty? Perception is everything. Negative perception yields negative conclusion, while Positive perception yields positive actualization. In the case of a troubled circumstance, have you ignored the mess(es) that's glaringly scornful and subscribed  to the message, hence learning from its lessons? Until we begin to take cognizance of the message communicated to us in every situation (either positive or negative), we'll never have dominion over the circumstance even though we emerge winners. Anchor Scripture: {Deuteronomy 1:34-35 "When God heard what you said, He exploded in anger. He swore, 'Not a single person of this evil generation is going to get so much as a look at the good land that I promised to give your parents. Not one - except for Caleb son of Jephunneh. He'll see it. i'll give him and his descendants the land he walked on because he was all for following God, hear
