WRITING...

Image
The faintest ink is better than human memory - Chinese Proverb  Human memory may fail, but a written piece would never fail - E.Hillz A wise man once said, when your vision moves from thoughts to paper, it becomes alive and achievable. Writing is the oldest form of speech presentation. Ever wondered why God did not resort to giving Moses the Ten Commandments verbally but took out time to inscribe them with his hands on a tablet? This He (God) did a second time after Moses angrily destroyed the first. *This confirms the importance of writing. Writing on a tablet is a unique skill possessed by craftsmen. This accrues God with the title; "Craftsman of all craftsmen.'' If you're a writer, you're not only made of the image of God, you possess His dominant trait: Craftsmanship. Anchor Scripture: Habakkuk 2:2 "Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it." Verbal communication i

AIR

Image
Can you see it? No, you can't... Can you feel it? Yes, you can. Air is an invisible gaseous substance surrounding the earth, particularly a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen. Air is synonymous to the word "Breath". Anchor Scripture: Genesis 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostril the breath of life (air); and man became a living soul.' Dating back to the creation story, ever since God breathed ''air'' into Adam and Eve, humans have remained a shareholder. Air sustains every living creature resident on the surface of the earth. Interestingly, some non-living things (equipment) are benefactors. *Radio/TV transmitters receive signals from air. Sadly, some pay dearly for air. If you're able to access air on a platter without any obstruction, then you're more advantaged than you thought you were. Air is life. Air sustains. Air is the premise for a future we hope for. Whop! Whop!! Birthday Rants?

Image
I remember crying at the early hours of her birthday. Not because I remembered the pains she bore until her death (that always tears me up) but because I really did miss her. Swiping back and forth the pictures, paying more attention to the picture of the pink ankara dress she made for me, that I found soothing. We were standing side by side, smiling. Life seemed promising. I didn't mourn for too long, I channeled the energy to celebrating her life instead. I dodged the bullet. I was good. I was fine. I was editing a life project, critically analyzing life in between. "Puff of air, puff of air..." The only thought that resonated. Amidst the hustle and tussle, nobody will get out alive? Mtcheecheeew, I involuntarily made an outstretched hiss. The next day came, it was a long day. From trying to make a little money earlier in the day, on to attending church proper and then the meeting thereafter. I was fatigued. I soon returned home, unwinding through social m

I Am Not Looking At You!

I'll use a public transportation to my destination rather than use a personal ride or request for an Uber whenever I find it cheaper. It'll continue till my finance pops. I'll give up my seat and stand graciously other than shut my eyes to a stranded elderly person. I'll get it right during the courting phase before I walk down the aisle other than go about it the wrong way. I'll thrive legitimately even if it takes a longer time to actualize purpose rather than be a woman of easy virtue living a vain life for social media acknowledgement. I'll gracefully pass through my process rather than pretend to have it all sorted out I'll slide into your "DM" if you inspire me with or without your permission rather than live with the memory of not sliding in to express my thoughts. I'll love my mentors unapologetically without your opinion because we mustn't always have "identical'' mentors. I'll use an android device

John The Be(LOVE)d

Image
In the end, LOVE always wins... JTB (John The Beloved) was an ambassador, fan and archer of love, and in turn, Love reciprocated. From my perspective, he was the founding father of PDA (Public Display of Affection). This was evidenced at the last supper when he lay his head on the shoulder of Jesus. He unapologetically "famzed'' Jesus, and it worked in his favour all the time. During the last supper, we see how Jesus revealed who would betray Him to JTB. (See  John 13:23-26 )The connection between Jesus and John was another level. {Anchor Scripture:  John 21:20} "Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who was leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You? Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?'' Jesus said to him, " If I will, he remain till I come, what is that to you ? You Follow Me.''   You Can Spot John With Eas
