The faintest ink is better than human memory - Chinese Proverb
Human memory may fail, but a written piece would never fail - E.Hillz

A wise man once said, when your vision moves from thoughts to paper, it becomes alive and achievable.

Writing is the oldest form of speech presentation. Ever wondered why God did not resort to giving Moses the Ten Commandments verbally but took out time to inscribe them with his hands on a tablet? This He (God) did a second time after Moses angrily destroyed the first. *This confirms the importance of writing.

Writing on a tablet is a unique skill possessed by craftsmen. This accrues God with the title; "Craftsman of all craftsmen.'' If you're a writer, you're not only made of the image of God, you possess His dominant trait: Craftsmanship.

Anchor Scripture: Habakkuk 2:2
"Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it."
Verbal communication is good. But for posterity sake, written speeches should be subscribed to, because, it can be passed from generation to generation. Now, imagine if the authors of the Bible, philosophical works, encyclopedia, etc. did not commit to writing. It would have been a dead end. Thank God for writers!

There were situations when God subscribed to verbal communication to convey His message, and in His wisdom, He admonished them to write every word in their hearts or in a book, pending on its depth.

In professional organizations, you'll have to pass the written test(s) to qualify you to the oral/verbal interview. This amplifies the ambiguity of writing and written works.

In a society where writing has been downplayed, do not join the bandwagon because eventually, written works would be used as references while gaudy speeches with no documentation would die a natural death.

Subscribe wholly to writing. It is the only means of preserving an idea that will stand the test of time.

Have a Fab day!

Can you see it? No, you can't... Can you feel it? Yes, you can.

Air is an invisible gaseous substance surrounding the earth, particularly a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen.

Air is synonymous to the word "Breath".

Anchor Scripture: Genesis 2:7
"And the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostril the breath of life (air); and man became a living soul.'

Dating back to the creation story, ever since God breathed ''air'' into Adam and Eve, humans have remained a shareholder.

Air sustains every living creature resident on the surface of the earth. Interestingly, some non-living things (equipment) are benefactors. *Radio/TV transmitters receive signals from air.

Sadly, some pay dearly for air.

If you're able to access air on a platter without any obstruction, then you're more advantaged than you thought you were. Air is life. Air sustains. Air is the premise for a future we hope for.

Thank God for AIR.

Have a AIRy day!

Whop! Whop!! Birthday Rants?

I remember crying at the early hours of her birthday. Not because I remembered the pains she bore until her death (that always tears me up) but because I really did miss her.

Swiping back and forth the pictures, paying more attention to the picture of the pink ankara dress she made for me, that I found soothing. We were standing side by side, smiling. Life seemed promising.

I didn't mourn for too long, I channeled the energy to celebrating her life instead. I dodged the bullet.
I was good. I was fine. I was editing a life project, critically analyzing life in between. "Puff of air, puff of air..." The only thought that resonated.

Amidst the hustle and tussle, nobody will get out alive? Mtcheecheeew, I involuntarily made an outstretched hiss.

The next day came, it was a long day. From trying to make a little money earlier in the day, on to attending church proper and then the meeting thereafter. I was fatigued.

I soon returned home, unwinding through social media. I ought to have been sleeping, but sleep wouldn't come. "Let me read a book'', I thought to myself. I couldn't express any emotion. And I didn't like to feel that way. It made me seem inhuman.

I open Toke Makinwa's "On Becoming". I had read it in the past. It seemed like entertainment to me. Maybe because it was trending. But this time was different.

Word for word, line by line, the first four chapters sunk. Alas! I was beginning to stir up an emotion. "This is pain in black and white,'' I pondered. An amplified version of pain.

How could one watch mother and father burn beyond recognition, lose the two house helps, graduate to losing a sister, not to mention the possession that was cremated and still look glam on Instagram? "Nawa o, people dey!'' I soliloquized.

I heaved a deep sigh of relief, thanked God for everything and continued with my book. But this time, another book.

I Am Not Looking At You!

I'll use a public transportation to my destination rather than use a personal ride or request for an Uber whenever I find it cheaper. It'll continue till my finance pops.

I'll give up my seat and stand graciously other than shut my eyes to a stranded elderly person.

I'll get it right during the courting phase before I walk down the aisle other than go about it the wrong way.

I'll thrive legitimately even if it takes a longer time to actualize purpose rather than be a woman of easy virtue living a vain life for social media acknowledgement.

I'll gracefully pass through my process rather than pretend to have it all sorted out

I'll slide into your "DM" if you inspire me with or without your permission rather than live with the memory of not sliding in to express my thoughts.

I'll love my mentors unapologetically without your opinion because we mustn't always have "identical'' mentors.

I'll use an android device I can conveniently maintain rather use an 1phone/pad that'll make my heart skip countless beats when the screen cracks up.

I'll work rigorously hard to ensure I ace examinations and other affairs of life even if i don't win other than lazy around foolishly waiting for supernatural aid.

I'll prefer to be loved but even if I get shoved, it doesn't really matter because you're ugly to me and I ain't seeing you.

I'll (act) vulnerable rather than (play) strong when I need help. I'm either acting or playing. Life is not that serious. *lol... Well, I have my serious moments.

I'll choose creative mediums to enhance the virtue of my character rather than get "bondagefied" in a religious protocol.

I'll love/serve God in spirit and in truth, His praise will forever be on my lips. I'll ''unshamely'' tell the world how beautiful he is through my Blog Posts and other platforms rather than remove God out of the equation because society doesn't project the young lady that takes the "Jesus thing" too serious.

I'll not live my life trying to impress you when I have pressing needs to address because at the end of the day...,

I Am Not Looking At You.

John The Be(LOVE)d

In the end, LOVE always wins...

JTB (John The Beloved) was an ambassador, fan and archer of love, and in turn, Love reciprocated.

From my perspective, he was the founding father of PDA (Public Display of Affection). This was evidenced at the last supper when he lay his head on the shoulder of Jesus. He unapologetically "famzed'' Jesus, and it worked in his favour all the time.

During the last supper, we see how Jesus revealed who would betray Him to JTB. (See John 13:23-26)The connection between Jesus and John was another level.

{Anchor Scripture: John 21:20}
"Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who was leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?
Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?''
Jesus said to him, "If I will, he remain till I come, what is that to you? You Follow Me.''

You Can Spot John With Ease Yea?

Oh well, John didn't live to witness the Second Coming of Jesus, but he was the last out of the Disciples of Jesus to pass on to eternal glory. He died between the ages of 90-100 years old, reason why he was referred to as "Elder" at the latter part of the books of the Holy Bible.
Five books of the Holy scripture were recorded to his credit. They include; The books of John, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John & Revelation.

All his books were born out of in-depth unwavering love for Jesus. They envisage the entirety of what love is encompassed of.
John 3:16John 14:14John 10:10, are popular scriptures that depicts selfless, sacrificial and unconditional love.
John bares it all in the book of revelation which he wrote while on exile at the Island Of Patmos. He painstakingly gives out a fair warning to every Christian, hence, setting perspectives.

Love goes hand in glove with loyalty. If you're not faithful in loving the little things life gets to offer, you will never be faithful in loving the ambiguous things it encompasses.

Love love like John The Beloved and you'll be loved right back by/with love.

Today, make Jesus the ''first love of your life'' and the ''other loves of your life'' will tag along.

Have an Overwhelming day.
