That One Leper...

Become that one leper who goes back to say thank you in the year 2019...

Advance thanksgiving in anticipation of the goodies you're expecting from the Throne of Grace are great but observing a quiet time to reflect on the goodies that you had received within a particular time frame is fantastic.

God uses people to bless us. And so putting a call through, sending a warm message or delivering a parcel (according to your financial ability) is a legitimate way to say Thank You Jesus. It is the little things that matter and God never seizes to bless thoughtful people who return to say thank you.

Anchor Scripture:{Luke 17:15-19}
"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell on his feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
So Jesus answered and said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner? And He said to him, Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."

That one leper didn't have anything "popping" and he was also a foreigner who was unsure about the next phase of his life. He was unsure about this community accepting him as whole and part of the system, he was uncertain about a thousand things and more but he still went back to say... Thank you!

Where they not nine others who partook from the divine healing? Well, grateful people constitute only 1% of the equation, become that 1%.

That one leper imbibed the consciousness of self realization. He knew where he was coming from and didn't want to return to that address. *I can bet my two cents that for so long he prayed and wished that the infirmity would go away and his prayers covered up for the remaining nine.

This unique leper longed for wholeness and when it happened, he didn't get carried away by the jubilation of eyewitnesses or his fellow lepers with similar condition. He knew his path was different and never forgot his root.

Lepers are being ridiculed, trampled upon, isolated and perceived as inconsequential. To sum it all, their voices are not being heard. If you had experienced difficult situations or excessive lack in certain areas of  your life and emerged victorious, you will most likely identify with the plight suffered by these lepers.

Don't be ungrateful, be like that one leper, go back and say thank you.

You will be amazed at the cyclical grace of the Lord that will keep breaking protocols for your sake.

Have a Blessed Day!
