The Long Distance Runner!

Some run short distances, others; moderate distances, but hey! Bottles up for the long distance runner! He is that runner who perseveres to the end even in the face of adversities.

The long distance runner is one who becomes overwhelmed with the burdensome race filled with thorns and throes, and is tempted to opt out. But God steps in, opens his eyes with an amplified vision of the finish line and renews his strength to enable him continue with the final lap in the quest to actualize destiny.

The long distance runner subscribes to routinary discipline/mortification, but overtime, is rewarded handsomely.

Anchor Scripture: {Hebrew 12:12-13}
"So don't sit around on your hands! No more dragging your feet! Clear the path for long distance runners so no one will trip and fall, so no one will step in a hole and sprain an ankle. Help each other out. And run for it!"

The long distance runner needs human support as well. No man ever lived in isolation, else, his life becomes brutish, short, absurd and not worth living. In the same vain, the path of the athlete needs to remain clear (void of distraction) so he doesn't slip and have a disastrous fall.

Adversities are signs that you're near your victorious empire. Don't give up, He 'gat' you.

#Your promise land is not empty, they are filled with giants. It's going to be a bloody fight but don't be appalled, for the good Lord has trained your hands for battle(s). Trust in him and you'll never be forsaken or left aback.

Have a Fab Week ahead!

  1. Thank you for packaging the benefits and rewards of a Long-Distance Runner. Indeed it is extremely lonely indeed.
