UNEQUALLY YOKED

Image
Who is the unequally yoked person? One who is unable to partner with you at a particular level. Failure to disassociate yourself from them will lead to sinking and eventual drowning. Anchor Scripture: { Proverbs 27:17 } "Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.'' Ab initio, humans were not wired to live in isolation, they were wired to have companions who will help them in their daily lives. Everyone who accrues successes at different level was helped. Iron sharpens iron. Never been heard of that iron sharpen plastic or vice-versa, the iron will remain blunt and will be unable to operate at the realm it was designed to, while the plastic will be dissected into bitty parts. "Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what fellowship does light have with darkness?"( 2 Corinthians 6:14- NET Bible ) This Biblical portion is one to ponder upon. Partnerships , Relationships , and Courtships are sensitive SHIPS that shouldn...

TRUST ISSUES

Image
If you're not God, my quintessential spiritual director, bae or my mini-circled confidants, then I have trust issues with you! Scriptural Passage: {1 Peter 5:8} "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world." Lately, I've watched drama unraveled sequentially till it attained its melting point. And surprisingly, these acts were put up by people whom I thought were dear to me.  *Screaming no more! Never letting this sanguine heart of mine fail me. Never again! It's not okay to be rewarded evil for the good deeds done. It's not okay for a group of people to plot your downfall and pit your name for no just cause. It's not okay to be treated less than your worth. Most importantly, it's not okay to suffer for nothing especially when it is benef...

Naked and Bare...

Image
Don't be distracted by the tautological caption, but there comes a time in one's life where the individual undresses and just lay bare, with aim of offloading the luggage that comes with life's journey. In the last three weeks, I've been somewhat depressed. Able to think straight? Mission impossible. I'm too selfless to a fault and it is the burden I bear. Being in the midst of negative people who never retire from false judgments keeps me on my feet. I'm careful not to give them the opportunity to penetrate and tamper with my peace. Come to think of it, I have an acute phobia for failure, especially the ones that come with heightened embarrassments. I pray the heavens hastily come to my rescue. The pressure from meeting various deadlines, many commitments which I ought to get actively involved in and the overall responsibility accrued to being an adult is a torn in my flesh. I don't intend to bore you with no Mummy Tale. But up unto now, no one has b...

Smile At Life, It Smiles Right Back At You

Image
There's this thing they say about life. Smile at it, it smiles right back at you in return. Sometimes, life may not smile after you've flashed the first, second or numerous smiles at. Smile unrelentingly until it gets tired of upsetting you. Because it will get tired eventually. All my life (up until now), I lived in different levels of expectations. There were times I anticipated the perfect prince charming to make my fairy tale dreams come alive, other times, I anticipated an upsurge in my career aspiration. Were my expectations met? Yes... Nearest to yes, I think. Maybe because it took a longer time to attain unlike I imagined. Later in life, I discovered the secret: Smile at life. Anchor Scripture: {Jeremiah 29:11} "I have plans to take care of yourself and give you a future that you planned for Well, It takes a renewed mind to smile at life and through life's. The moment I began to smile at life consistently amidst its pains and gains, tasteful and d...

LAZINESS

Image
The human body is wired to be in a neutral state. Neutral means a relaxed state. The human body craves comfort, skin pampering and the good things of life. Some of the recent people in my life think i'm a workaholic, if only they knew the "unrenewed'' Ella. lol. I'm a typical sanguine. My walk with the Holy Spirit made me overcome most of the weaknesses of a sanguine. Oh well, I have my lazy days! Each time i'm in my lazy day feeling, Proverbs 6:4-11 pops up in my head and torments the hell out of me. Anchor Scripture: { Proverbs 6:6-11 } "Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.  How long will you slumber you sluggard? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hands to sleep -  So shall your poverty come to you like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.'' Imbibing self discipli...

It Will Come To You

Image
You may have to rigorously go after it at the inception, but a time will come when everything you've ever desired will find its way to your bosom and there won't be room enough to contain it. Anchor Scripture: { Proverbs 16:3 } "Commit your works to the Lord and He'll establish your thoughts.'' The start-up is usually the toughest because of the foundational work involved. A lot of plotting/planning, sleepless nights, hard work, innovative and strategic ideas will be committed. This phase will be sustained by the fruit of the Holy Spirit, not its gifts. The fruit of the Holy Spirit includes: love , joy , peace , long-suffering , kindness , goodness , faithfulness , gentleness , self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23a) The gifts of the Holy Spirit can be found in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10. The law of attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It is the universal law that guides every human being who subscribes to the act o...

IGNORE

Image
To ignore means to overlook, and it is not synonymous with ignorance. Anchor Scripture: { Proverbs 27:12 } "The prudent see danger and hide, but the naive keeps going and pay the penalty.'' Ignoring isn't a sign of weakness, rather, a manifestation of strength acquired through intense discipline. On the 2nd of October 2017 after a getaway dinner with my fiance (we were celebrating our anniversary), robbers tried to attack us but God redirected the operation of my fiance and gave me a strategy to wrestle with one of the robbers. *Email me to get the full gist. As I tried to relax my nerve and thank God for a successfully face-off, I noticed my fiance slowing down the car with the intention of alighting from the vehicle to confront one of the robbers who tried getting physical with me. Yes he tried to that! Shaking My Head! At first, I thought to myself that he was joking. Soon realizing that he meant business, I lunged out yelling, "Get us out of here!...

SHUT UP!

Image
From my finding, the new bred generation prefer sycophants that'll white-wash and give them high definition fictional ''amebo''. Apparently, it is tantamount to their survival, thus giving them an imaginary sense of belonging status. Sincerity and genuinity  has been confused for "eye service'' or ''holier art thou'' attitude. Well, half truth is no truth. These days, i'm afraid to tell the entire truth because "badbelles'' are in the habit of quoting portions from my statement. They never do it in entirety. Lately, the voice in my head that yells "SHUT UP!" each time i'm about to open up is on cloud nine. I'm so glad there is a voice. Anchor Scripture: { Proverbs 17:28 } ''Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if the hold their tongue.'' I used to be a talkative in the past (only with my supposed friends) and it still put me in trouble. Now that ...

PLEASE

Image
The word "please" is a subtle cry for mercy. It expresses one's vulnerability. The phrase 'please' has reinstated businesses, work, cordial and intimate relationships. In the same vain, it has clouded the thinking abilities of individuals, thus handicapping them. These "handicap" could entail compromising to illegitimate business deal, subscribing to peer pressure, or in serious occasion, giving up one's moral values. Some have contacted venereal diseases because of please . It is true that vulnerability is a bridge to connection. But never forget that vulnerability is one of the ways. There are others means of attaining it. Connection in this context means legitimate links to self purpose. Please can be used in harmless or harmful contexts. Stay woke! Ensure you're using the term "please" to achieve a purpose, not to attack a prey. If the eventual result of the use of your "please'' doesn't align with godly re...

You'll Never Walk Alone?

Image
The above epigram/post title "You'll never walk alone'' is familiar among football fans especially Liverpool Football Club fans. When you walk alone, you go far but when you walk with people you go fast - Joyce Meyer Anchor Scripture: { Ecclesiastes 3:1 } "To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.'' There is a time to walk alone and there is also a time to walk with others. If you're still in the "Walking alone phase," nothing will stop you from walking with others at the appointed time. Ever been in a situation where no one thinks of a certain good, but the moment God blesses you with an idea that'll tend to take you and the organization you probably work in to the next level, almost everybody in the organization begins to resist and antagonize you directly or indirectly? In such situation, don't feel tempted to bury your ideas in a coffin. *See  Ephesians 5:14  (MSG Translation) Never be...

Dining With The Devil

Image
You may ask, is it okay to dine with the devil when James 4:7 categorically states, "Submit yourself before God. Resist the devil, and he'll flee?'' In cases where resisting and fleeing from the devil is inevitable, what do you do? Dine with him with a very long spoon! This literally means keeping a distance; subscribing to full consciousness and eliminating every distraction till the said meal has been done with. Anchor Scripture: { 1 Peter 5:8 } "Be alert and sober of mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." In as much as dining with the devil to obtain a tangible result may be the only route to obtaining a desired result, know when to stop dining! "There is time for  everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."- Ecclesiastes 3: 1 Be at alert. The devil is bad to the bone! He can go the extra mile to pin you down to a spot. Never give in. Never (consciously or uncon...

The Infected Cookie

Image
If you could say no over and over to an infected cookie in the past (even when you had to elope because you didn't have the nerve to look it in the face and reject it) then you'll end up with a running belle if you can't look it in the eye today and yell a thunderous no, now that you're well thought, confident and eek of wisdom. Ever been in a situation where people offered you regular cookies (which were not bad) but it didn't seem to excite you because of the picture of the special cookie that's been registered in your taste bud that needs to be tended to, thus making you salivate on the subconscious until you took a bold step not to salivate anymore but wait gracefully for that specially-made cookie irrespective of the time frame? Well, one fateful day when you were not looking, a regular cookie tagged along. You didn't notice it because it was not just your type but the cookie was all up in your face consistently, like it was an emissary. You soon...

Give Up On Your Dreams

Image
But only for a short while though... Some people put their dreams on hold for many weeks, months or even years in order to serve, acquire knowledge and in turn undergo the training phase. They are on the right path. I once heard a public speaker say, "In order to make your dream come true, you'll have to give up your dream to make another person's dream come true.'' You make ask, "How feasible is this?'' Well, there is something called calculated risk. Ensure that whoever you'll give up your dreams for is worth it. This can be likened to the case of a nursing mother who takes a while off the work scene to tend to her newborn, but her snap back is divinity, because she returns fiercer than ever. Service and Honour is rewarding. Anchor Scripture: { Genesis 29:18 } "Now Jacob loved Rachael; so he said, 'I will serve you seven years for Rachael your younger daughter." Giving up one's dream temporarily comes with a lot of...

The Warning Sign

Image
A warning sign is a signage that awakens the consciousness of a danger. Failure to adhere may result to a weighty sanction or disaster. Anchor Scripture: { Deuteronomy 4:9 } ''Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life.'' In a car dashboard display which updates or provides the driver with the appropriate information from time to time, ignoring the notification from the icons that represent the fuel gauge, temperature, maintenance, etc can lead to a crash that'll involve a lot of financial commitment to be reinstated or even an irrevocable loss of the vehicle. The above illustration applies with relationship issues. The warning signs pop up from time to time. The warning sign is not a disastrous signage but a sign that prevents one from a disaster if duly interrogated. If the warning sign in a relationship is ig...

Just Like That!

Image
Just kidding... lol Since year 2015 after the demise of my mum, I've been praying to God for "equally yoked'' female friends who will tag along with me to the future. Two years later, Jesus did it! I can understand if you're giving me a side eye or probably referring to me as dramatic, but in truth, I was wired to function effectively with the right association. Being raised in a "full'' house may have contributed to the factor. Anchor Scripture: { Proverbs 18:24 } "One who has unreliable friends soon comes to a ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.'' All my life, I've had cool friends in between, but in the case of an equally yoked friend that sticks closer than a brother, it's been mission impossible. You'll never appreciate the presence of abundance until you've experienced perpetual lack. Well, all I can say is Thank You Jesus! God added an amazing male friend to my life few months...

MIRACLE

Image
A Miracle is a wonderful event occurring in the  physical  that is attributed to the  supernatural . The underlining factor of a miracle is that it must be physical, hence, it'll be recorded as mere hypnosis. Hypnosis is a trans-like state that is artificially induced. THE BIG QUESTION... Do you believe in miracles? Ever wondered why Nigeria is still a third-world country amidst the high-rise "Miraculous'' revivals? Don't misquote me, miracles are good but it tags along with a process. So many people don't want to get involved with the process, yet wake up each day anticipating a 'miracle'. Waking up each day anticipating a miracle is living by faith but it must go hand in gloves with work (especially good works). Anchor Scripture: { Luke 17:11-14 } "Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who s...

Vessel Of Honour

Image
It is true that an empty vessel makes the loudest unpleasant sound, but it's never be heard of a loaded vessel making a distasteful sound. Loaded vessels are solidified, thus, can't be easily tossed around. Anchor Scripture: { 2 Timothy 2: 20-21 }NKJV "But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honour and some for dishonour. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 MSG Translation "In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets - some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.'' Reflecting on the above anchor scripture, we take to cognizance ...

INSECURITY

Image
If you see yourself having sleepless night over someone else's fake Ray Ban Glasses and unceasingly striving to obtain it (especially when you have the original version), then there are greater chances that you are dealing with chronic insecurity issues. If you can't confidently look into the other party's eyes during decision making, then get ready to be taken advantage of because of a low self esteem guise in the robe of insecurity. More importantly, if you see yourself wanting it all and not being able to say no even when you know you ought to, then there are greater chances that you're sulked up in the claws of overconfidence. There is a thin line between insecurity and overconfidence. Studies have shown that most overconfident people are "lowkey'' insecure and most insecure people are ''lowkey'' overconfident. One distinct trigger is enough to blow its cover and give way of the innate (not so upright) virtue to dominate and vic...

Good Content

Image
Lately, I've been involved with a lot of 'bread and butter' talk. And in truth, I've been contemplative about it. On my 25th birthday, I resolved to be gracious in my speech, but along the way, I drifted. Well, thank God I outlined my resolutions and cautious enough to hold myself accountable whenever I go contrary to the aforementioned. Anchor Scripture:  {Proverbs 10:19} "When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable but he who restrains his lips is wise.'' Words or speeches with good contents are mind-lifting while bad/shallow/baseless contents are mind-drenching. Nothing good comes out of the latter. More so, loose talkers are never accorded with respect. Filtering/processing our spoken words helps in the edification of our spiritual, moral, and psychological lives. Good talks creates a healthy atmosphere for exploits in every sphere. If your flaw(s) includes projecting negativity or engaging in empty talks hence leading to an ...

Lead Us Not Into Temptation!

Image
Whether we are the tempter or the temptee, at some point in our lives, we'll fall deeply into temptation. Anchor Scripture: { Mathew 6:13 } "And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one." Jesus in His profound wisdom gave us a template for prayer. He incorporated "Temptation" into it. *Kindly peep 1 Corinthians 10:13 to understand why He did so. Even Jesus in all His glory was tempted. The account of all His temptation escapade on earth were not recorded in the Bible asides the account between Him and the devil at the Mountain of Temptation- Mathew 4:1-11 *I mean, Jesus lived for 33 years and was a good looking man when he took the form of ''natural'' flesh. #Thinking out loud How do I know He was good looking? The linen cloth which Veronica dabbed his bloody face with was a proof. Subsequently, Jesus' image that appeared on the handkerchief was the model that served artistes who drew Him. According to El...

Just Because You Can't...

Image
First off, Just because you can't doesn't mean others can't. Second off, just because you're trash doesn't mean you can't do great things Third off, Just because you're good doesn't mean everyone will like you. We live in a world filled with diverse personalities. These set of people are unique in their uniqueness. It is an unruly behaviour to choke people with your ideology/perceptive. In the same vain, it is okay to persuade them into reasoning with your line of thoughts. But if it doesn't work, free it! Just term it "Honest Disagreement''. *I learnt the terminology from the Bible. Permit me to infuse some natural illustrations... - Just because you can't abstain from sex and other shades of addiction doesn't mean other can't - Just because you can't establish a mutual relationship with the opposite sex without "catching feelings'' doesn't mean others can't - Just because you make p...

The Burning Bush

Image
Most of us don't notice the presence of God even when it is stuck in our faces. Anchor Scripture: { Exodus 3:2-4 } ''And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, ' I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.'' So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look , God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, 'Moses, Moses!'  And he said, "Here I am.'' It was only when Moses turned to inquire (about the marvelous sight) that God called him by his name, introduced Himself to him, and dished out further instructions. God will never force Himself down our throats except in special cases. Lately, I've not been spending quality time with God as I used to and it's been taking a toll on me. The void has been taunting. And today, as I reac...

WRITING...

Image
The faintest ink is better than human memory - Chinese Proverb  Human memory may fail, but a written piece would never fail - E.Hillz A wise man once said, when your vision moves from thoughts to paper, it becomes alive and achievable. Writing is the oldest form of speech presentation. Ever wondered why God did not resort to giving Moses the Ten Commandments verbally but took out time to inscribe them with his hands on a tablet? This He (God) did a second time after Moses angrily destroyed the first. *This confirms the importance of writing. Writing on a tablet is a unique skill possessed by craftsmen. This accrues God with the title; "Craftsman of all craftsmen.'' If you're a writer, you're not only made of the image of God, you possess His dominant trait: Craftsmanship. Anchor Scripture: Habakkuk 2:2 "Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it." Verbal communication i...

AIR

Image
Can you see it? No, you can't... Can you feel it? Yes, you can. Air is an invisible gaseous substance surrounding the earth, particularly a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen. Air is synonymous to the word "Breath". Anchor Scripture: Genesis 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostril the breath of life (air); and man became a living soul.' Dating back to the creation story, ever since God breathed ''air'' into Adam and Eve, humans have remained a shareholder. Air sustains every living creature resident on the surface of the earth. Interestingly, some non-living things (equipment) are benefactors. *Radio/TV transmitters receive signals from air. Sadly, some pay dearly for air. If you're able to access air on a platter without any obstruction, then you're more advantaged than you thought you were. Air is life. Air sustains. Air is the premise for a future we hope for. Thank ...

Whop! Whop!! Birthday Rants?

Image
I remember crying at the early hours of her birthday. Not because I remembered the pains she bore until her death (that always tears me up) but because I really did miss her. Swiping back and forth the pictures, paying more attention to the picture of the pink ankara dress she made for me, that I found soothing. We were standing side by side, smiling. Life seemed promising. I didn't mourn for too long, I channeled the energy to celebrating her life instead. I dodged the bullet. I was good. I was fine. I was editing a life project, critically analyzing life in between. "Puff of air, puff of air..." The only thought that resonated. Amidst the hustle and tussle, nobody will get out alive? Mtcheecheeew, I involuntarily made an outstretched hiss. The next day came, it was a long day. From trying to make a little money earlier in the day, on to attending church proper and then the meeting thereafter. I was fatigued. I soon returned home, unwinding through social m...

I Am Not Looking At You!

Image
I'll use a public transportation to my destination rather than use a personal ride or request for an Uber whenever I find it cheaper. It'll continue till my finance pops. I'll give up my seat and stand graciously other than shut my eyes to a stranded elderly person. I'll get it right during the courting phase before I walk down the aisle other than go about it the wrong way. I'll thrive legitimately even if it takes a longer time to actualize purpose rather than be a woman of easy virtue living a vain life for social media acknowledgement. I'll gracefully pass through my process rather than pretend to have it all sorted out I'll slide into your "DM" if you inspire me with or without your permission rather than live with the memory of not sliding in to express my thoughts. I'll love my mentors unapologetically without your opinion because we mustn't always have "identical'' mentors. I'll use an android device...

John The Be(LOVE)d

Image
In the end, LOVE always wins... JTB (John The Beloved) was an ambassador, fan and archer of love, and in turn, Love reciprocated. From my perspective, he was the founding father of PDA (Public Display of Affection). This was evidenced at the last supper when he lay his head on the shoulder of Jesus. He unapologetically "famzed'' Jesus, and it worked in his favour all the time. During the last supper, we see how Jesus revealed who would betray Him to JTB. (See  John 13:23-26 )The connection between Jesus and John was another level. {Anchor Scripture:  John 21:20} "Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who was leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You? Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?'' Jesus said to him, " If I will, he remain till I come, what is that to you ? You Follow Me.''   You Can Spot John With Eas...

Running On Rails...

Image
First you'll have to pass through potholes, on to a smooth road with speed bumps, but eventually, you'll run on rails. Anchor Scripture: Proverbs 21:21 {NIV} "Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honour Running on rails entails running with ease. It's the proof of a rewarding life that has passed through series of processes and protocols, tests and trials. It is the life of undeniable exploits. It is the life of abundance. It's the good life... Still in your process and everything seems confusing? Good news! You're right on track. It's a proof that you're living. Keep thriving! Chin up! Eyes on the prize! Eventually, everything will make perfect sense and you'll be intensely joyful from inside out. *Toast to the fairy-tale life. wink From the above anchor scripture, the law of structure and flow is explicitly spelt out. To obtain life (fullness), prosperity and honour, you'll have to pursue righteousn...

The Law Of First Mention

Image
The law of first mention states that God indicates a truth that stands in His mind which will not change later on. Anchor Scripture: { Mathew 4:18-19 } "And Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.  Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'' Taking a critical look at today's anchor scripture, we notice Simon Peter's name was first to be mentioned on the list of '' The Followers of Jesus'' which in turn earned him (and his brother, Andrew), an immediate change in status. Ever wondered what attracted Jesus to Peter and his brother? Well, interestingly, the blessing of the first mention rested on Peter. I personally do not think it was a mere coincidence that God the father found him worthy to reveal a classified heavenly secret which earned him the mantle of leadership. Mathew 16: 17-18 ...

Your Opinion Mustn't Count

Image
Nobody is entitled to your own opinion. It's okay to persuade people into seeing opinions from your perspective, but it is every shade of wrong to lord it over them. Anchor Scripture: { 1 Peter 5:3 }NLT "Don't lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example." The above anchor scripture is an admonition from Apostle Peter to the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia. Even God in all His glory, majesty and perfection doesn't force humans to serve and do his will on earth. He gave man freedom to choose. (Bearing in mind that our choices make or mar us) In our present age, many brothers think it's their right to obtain the telephone numbers of the sister they are trying to woe, failure which, they become paranoid. If you see yourself lording your opinion(s) over people, then it is a sign that you're overly temperamental, and you need to visit a psychologist to get a...

CRY!

Image
I don't know about you, but crying helps me ease off especially when my heart is full. *Don't worry, I ain't crying, neither did I cry yesterday. Oh! I remember, I cried briefly yesterday over a slight mix up, I'm petty like that. lol The slight crying didn't inspire me to sculpt today's post, rather a beautiful soothing song was the inspiration behind it. Anchor Scriptures   Ecc 3:4 :"There is a time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance." Mathew 5:4 : "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." It's okay to mourn, wail, yell... cry. Let it out! Let it go! And you'll be just fine! Crying heals (slowly but surely) Crying strengthens Crying reassures Crying rejuvenates Crying admonishes More so, it is an act of self examination. Crying is a proof that you're still breathing. So keep breathing. It's okay to exercise those tear glands you know. It flushes bot...

Stay Woke: Similarities Between God And The Devil

Image
- God speaks to us in a familiar voice, so does the devil - God passes a message through a dream, so does the devil - God works with our imagination, so does the devil - God possesses His own with a spirit, so does the devil - God speaks to us through our inner mind, so does the devil - God is a huge fan of worship, so is the devil - God knows our deepest thoughts, so does the devil - God uses people (humans) to accelerate our mission, so does the devil - God uses people to bless and align us in the right direction, so does the devil use people to curse and lead us to destruction - God hears prayer and supplication, so does the devil hear demonic chants and incantations - God is a huge fan of symbols and numeric significance, so is the devil - God has His agents positioned at strategic ends of the earth, so does the devil Dread with caution, Stay woke, Be prepared, Indulge discipline, and Pray for the spirit of discernment which will enable us to distingu...

One Conversation Away...

Image
It's been proven that we are four (4) persons away from whoever we wish to connect with in the world. Most importantly, many of us are one conversation away from our destiny. Often times, the one ''deal breaking'' conversation begins with a chain of conversation. Anchor Scripture : { Proverbs 18:20-21 } "From the fruit of their mouth a person's stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.'' Why do we get the wrong feedback during a ''supposed fruit-bearing'' conversation? The answer is very simple... We are either communicating with the wrong people, not being able to communicate, or not communicating at all.  The above listed factors establishes a failed or fulfilled destiny. It took Mary one conversation with the right person (Angel Gabriel) to become the Mother of the Saviour of The World.( Luk...

No Wonder She Snitched!

Image
I used to think that Rebekah, mother of Esau and Jacob, was a mother who allowed favouritism take a toll on her. This is displayed by the way she snitched to her favourite son, Jacob, about Isaac (Father of Esau and Jacob) wanting to bless Esau their first born son. ( Genesis Chapter 27 ) Out of curiosity, I made Rebekah and Jacob my case study. From my mini research, God opened my eyes to realize that in Genesis Chapter 25, Esau sold his birthright to his brother Jacob over a plate of meal; for he was hungry. The event birthed the future brouhaha between Esau and Jacob *I'm pretty sure, Rebekah was excited about the event, hence, prompting her to monitor the well-being of her favourite son Jacob, to ensure all the blessings accrued to a first born is obtained by him. It safe to say that Rebekah wasn't entirely dramatic after all. Also, note that Esau was Isaac's favourite son. Both parents were guilty of favouritism, Rebekah was the smarter one. (This post doesn...

He Has Given Skills To All Craftsmen

Image
The Big Question: Are You A Craftsman? Whether you say yes or no, you're right. Anchor Scripture: { Exodus 31:6 } "And to all who have aptitude for crafts, I've given the skills to make all the things I've commanded you." The above anchor scripture is not bias intent, neither does it propagate segregation or stereotype. The ''craftsmanship ability'' is entitled to all who have the aptitude to acquire it, so far it's in line with everything God has commanded. Which inherent craft are you exhibiting? Which extrinsic craft are learning? God has assured us that He has given skills to ALL craftsman. Still craving to become a skillful craftsman?
