Why Are You Living?

Until you discover your life's purpose, living is only a waste of time and oxygen.

In the year 2013, I was yet to discover myself and my life's assignment. Oh yes! I was an ambitious young lady whose only goal in life was to make money and just life to its fullest (that happily ever after kind of living with Fancy cloths, Good shoes, Legendary automobile (owning a private jet wasn't a bad idea too), "Porsche" hair extensions, Skin pamper, World tour with price charming by the right hand side). *Lol, I'm a heavy dreamer, don't hate. hahaha... I could take up any decent job, as long as it brought in money and more money, even though the jobs I was getting at the time was an oxymoron. *I love my country Nigeria. hahaha.

*But hey, baby girl detested sitting idle at home and picked up those jobs while hoping for the best to come. *(I craved to be an On Air Personality and become a Brand Ambassador so badly sha. lool. Dunno why I loved it entirely flashy back then. Thank God I grew up!).

Fast-forward to 2016, see what the Lord has done! In the year 2015, my only goal was becoming a successful secular blogger, unknown to me was a real life's assignment which God was patiently waiting for me to mature before He unravels.

Today August 11th 2016, I make bold to say that I have my life's assignment all tabled out and unashamed to announce to the world that I Am Still A Work In Progress in pursuit to attaining my goals. Every moment of my life, I thank God for the many revelation because there is always more.

Play your own role of working rigorously hard, reach the desired target and allow God do His thing. *Note to self too.

Are you still clueless about your life's assignment? It's about that time to let go of you, subscribe to a sacrificial life, immense your mind in critical thinking and allow the Holy Spirit teach you, guide you and dictate for you.

Anchor scripture: Habakkuk 2:3
"For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end. It will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

In the words of Socrates, "an unexamined life is not worth living."

Partner with Jesus. Wait on Him if need be in order to figure out your life's purpose. It's never too late or too early to dream a new dream and have a new life worthy of rendering an explicit account of how well it was spent on the day of reckoning.

P.S: Living one's life assignment and living the fairy tale life all in one is entirely POSSIBLE.

Have a "Soberly Impressive" day guys!

  1. I thought you were celebrating your anniversary of blogging until I checked the date of your first post and ended up confused(of which you have a good energy in making me fall into- A Good Confusion of inquiry). Still trying to make a connect with your first quote with this article.

But in all, I am so glad you reminded me a principle that will help me become focused as I leave the confusion for another time.
